A particularly hot and dry summer, followed by a dry autumn, produced for the third consecutive year, a precocious vintage. The wines of 1995 are at the same time concentrated, well-structured, with very ripe tannins.
They are in the same class as the vintages 1929, ’45, ’49, ’59, ’61, ’70 and ’90.
