1991

The freeze of April 21. (- 7 °C) reduced the crop to ¼. As May turned out cold, the vegetative cycle found itself out of synchronisation. At the end of summer the qualitative potential, however, was more than respectable, thanks to the low quantity of grapes. (their composition was comparable to 1988, at the same time of the year).
September was exceptionally hot and rainy, which could be considered as the worst condition imaginable, particularly rare. The picking, which came late, allowed to rescue only the occasional surviving grapes, first from the freeze, then from grey rot. The vintage did not produce a great yield, but already agreable bottles, light, supple, well-balanced.
